On September 21^st, the Confucius Institute of Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-napoca, Romania, which was undertaken by our university, was officially founded in Romania . The Chinese ambassador to Romania Liu Zengwen, former State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania Talia Yintotaol,the Chancellor ofBabes-Bolyai University of Cluj-napoca and former Minister of Education of Romania Andre Mug and the President of our University Du Wei attended the opening ceremony.

We believe that the newly-founded Confucius Institute will become a new platform for the Romanian people to understand China ’s long history and splendid culture heritage. It will also become a new bridge for the communication between our two countries.
