As you may have learn from the news,342confirmedCOVID-19caseshave beenreported inZhejiang province recently, with 24 cases reported in Hangzhou, 64 cases reported in Ningbo and 254 cases reported in Shaoxing respectively.For the sake of studentssafety,ZUST would like to remind students of the following issues.

1.Please STAY in Hangzhouandreduce unnecessary visits or tripsas much as possible. For students who need to go outside Hangzhou, pleaseask for leave permit from your advisor IN ADVANCE with VALID REASONandcompletetheapplicationprocedure in Dingtalk. Leaving Hangzhou without approval will be deemed as a severe violation of ZUST regulations and hence a ZUST warning for getting dispelled will be issued accordingly.Students receiving 3 warnings will be expelled from ZUST.

2.Students whoplan to return to Hangzhou need apply from your advisorIN ADVANCEandcompletetheapplicationprocedure in Dingtalk too.A COVID-19 test(within 48 hours) should be provided in the application procedure.If there are other epidemic prevention and control emergency policies in the localplaces, students shall be implemented according to the local policy.

3.A warning or more serious punishment will be given tostudents who reportfake information, conceal information,provide fakedailyhealth report information or disobey the administrative requirements of the school or territory for epidemic prevention.

4.Proper personal protection measures likewearing a maskin public,washing hands frequently,reducingunnecessarygatheringsandavoiding visiting crowded placesshould be taken.
